I am so excited about this swap . Christmas is one of my favorite times of year and this year will be extra special around our home since my hubby will be coming home for the holidays for his midtour visit. He has already been in Korea for 5 months, can you believe it?
Swaps have been a great way for me to keep busy through this time without him and I have truly enjoyed getting to know so many wonderful artists here in Blogland and see all the wonderful creativity you share daily.
DETAILS:
For this swap you will make 1 hand crafted Item and then include one store bought Ornament. The hand crafted item needs to be along the lines of DECK THE HALLS examples… Holiday sign, mini wreath , garlands, anything that can be used to decorate for the holidays. I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with! The ornament should be store bought and be in the 5-10 dollar range so that everyone is getting a nice ornament.
I will take sign-ups until Oct. 15th. Then assign partners shortly after that and packages will need to be mailed by Dec 1st.

I made a batch of these Oh so yummy cookies to send to the hubby last week in Korea. Thought I would share with everyone. No photos this time darn it but I promise you will LOVE them!
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies :
2 Cups flour
1 cup quick or old fashion oats,uncooked
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter /margarine, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup Libbys Solid Pack Pumpkin
1 cup semi sweet chocolate morsels
preheat oven to 350. Combine flour ,oats,baking soda,cinnamon,and salt. Cream butter,gradually add sugars beating until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla ,mix well.Alternate additions of dry ingredients and pumpkin ,mixing well after each addition.Stir in morsels , drop by rounded spoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 20-25 minutes,until cookies are firm and lightly browned. Remove from sheets and cool on rack.
