Still alive...

(photo taken at a roller slide park, do we look HOT OR WHAT???)

Yes I am finally posting since getting here to Okinawa.`Thanks to everyone for all the emails!
We have been busy trying to adjust to our new way of life, making new friends and learning lots of new things! It has been a task just to get our internet to work. I logged on for days and all I could see was Japanese text!

I am not quite sure how I feel about it yet. I am TRYING to keep an open mind!
The humidity here is unreal! I am used to the 115 degree temps of the Arizona desert...PIECE O CAKE! This 88 degree 80 % humidity is a bit unpleasant! I spent the first week feeling quite dizzy and dehydrated I am sure.

I do need to attempt to get behind the wheel of the car again. I have only tried it once!`It was pretty scary being on the opposite side of the road and car!

My friend Joanne from high school and her family got here this past weekend. Pretty neat after all this time and we have boys the same age.

All in all I would say I am still NOT USE to it and its going to take a while, but I am gonna stay positive..haha!

I will leave you with some random photos I have taken for now..( FOR SOME REASON BLOGGER WONT UPLOAD MY PICS , I WILL TRY AGAIN LATER)

( HUGE slide made of all rollers , you use cardboard to come down on it)

(Austin coming down the roller slide)

( A GIGANTIC DROP slide , Austin only did it once!)

(sign in the entrance to the park , I HAD to take a pic, even though we arent sure what it means)
ANY IDEA ???

ARAHA BEACH

(very cool pirate ship for the kids on Araha Beach)

Hugs to you all ,I miss everyone! I feel so far away ... gee probably because I am right??LOL

Oh and I almost forgot ....
I experienced my first earthquake, lets just say not fun thinking about a 6.2 quake while living on an island!
